Time to Step it Up!

It is time for the Project Controls tribes to come together and develop the profession for the good of the individual and business.

Great to be asked to present at the Project Controls EVA24 Conference in London yesterday. Clearly the community can build on the work created by the many contributors to the Guild of Project Controls who have developed structured career paths, capability assessment and a central knowledge base.

Time is of the essence - our project teams and the huge investment across all sectors from aerospace to infrastructure need the support of assured project control professionals for them to succeed. It was also heartening to see the progress being made on automating the time-consuming data processing and analysis - this can only help to release more time to increase the time spent on interpreting project information and advising / coaching our project teams.
